On January 26, 2017, I declared my candidacy for Ward 3 for the upcoming municipal election.
I stand for:
- Re-applying Common Sense at City Hall
- Low Taxes, Smarter Choices, Less Spending
- Building Strong North Side Communities
I am running in this election because we need change and I can deliver it. Ward 3 in particular, and the North Side in general, has been getting the short end of the stick for way too long.
In the coming weeks, I will outline a detailed campaign plan with a door-knocking and events schedule.
I am currently looking for keen individuals to help me out. I need a campaign manager, door-knockers, all types of people, including someone who can provide tech-support.

This is exciting. We are about to change Ward 3 for the better. We will re-prioritize and clean-up waste.
Everything that I do follows this simple rule:
“Ward 3 First, North Side Second, The Rest of Edmonton Third” because we have been getting the short end of the stick for too long and I want the residents and businesses of north Edmonton to flourish.
Where is Ward 3?
Jon D for Ward 3!
Thanks to Kassandra Morissette, a graphic designer, for creating this unique Ward 3 Map. It was a lot of fun to design it together. I hope it delivers a strong message. My first priority is Ward 3, but I will stand up for all of the North Side.
